善良なマトリックスとは
EntropyGridの中核にあるのは、参加者一人ひとりの計測を一つにつなぎ合わせた、共有の記録です。私たちはこれを「マトリックス」と呼んでいます。
あなたが計測するたびに、その計測を受け取った証明として「受領番号」が発行されます。受領番号は、それまでに全員が積み重ねてきた記録全体とつなげて記録されるため、後から誰かが一つでも書き換えると、つながりが合わなくなります。マトリックスの中で、あなたの受領番号は他の無数の参加者の記録と結び合わされ、その並びの中に、あなたの「位置」が刻まれていきます。
新しく計測するたびに、あなたの位置は更新され、それまでの位置とつながっていきます。私たちは、この「位置の確定の連続」を、あなたが同じ生身の人間として存在し続けていることの証明へと育てていきたいと考えています。人と人が出会いを重ねながら、不確かな可能性を一つずつ確定させていくように、マトリックスは参加者全員のゆらぎによって、絶えず形を変えながら確定していきます。
マトリックスで公開するのは、受領番号とそのつながりだけです。乱数そのものや、あなたの指の動きの記録は公開しません。参加者が増えるほど記録は重なり合い、外から偽造することは難しくなっていくと私たちは考えています。誰か一人が支配するのではなく、全員のゆらぎが全員の存在を支え合う。これが、私たちの考える「善良なマトリックス」です。マトリックスは、計測の仕組みの改良にあわせて、このサイトで公開する予定です。
民主主義とプライバシーを、どう守るか
AI時代の統治として、しばしば二つのシナリオが語られます。中央集権的な政府による統治か、巨大AI企業による統治か。けれど、どちらも人間の基本的な自由と民主主義を無条件に保証はしてくれません。
産業の自動化で雇用が失われ、政府や企業によるベーシックインカムが導入される――そう予想されています。でもそれは、私たちの生きる権利と生活の手綱を、政府や企業に握られることを意味します。彼らが完全に善良である保証は、どこにもありません。
生活は。市民をコントロールしたい主体は、給付を止めればいい。逆らえなくなります。
選挙は。SNSでの認知戦や世論操作は、いま現在も疑われています。知らないうちに刷り込みが行われ、結果が歪められても、私たちにはそれを知る術がありません。
プライバシーは。個人情報は蓄積され、市民はスコア化され、大規模な監視のもとで行動が管理されていく。
これは、民主主義と自由の危機です。では、人間の自由と尊厳を守れるのは、どんな仕組みでしょうか。
答えは、誰にもコントロールされない、公正な分散システムです。EntropyGridは、人間の行動から生まれるエントロピーに価値を置き、AIや量子コンピューターからの過度な干渉に抗う土台を築くことを目指します。
ただし、正直に言葉を選びます。「量子耐性」が守れるのは、暗号が破られにくい、という一点です。それだけで選挙やSNSの操作まで防げるわけではありません。世論工作の主力は暗号を破る攻撃ではなく、ボットや偽アカウントによる増幅だからです。
だからEntropyGridが本当に効くのは、別のところです。「これは生身の人間か」を検証できること――human-origin の証明です。
選挙なら。投票する一人ひとりが本物の人間で、一人一票であることを検証できれば、なりすましの大量票（Sybil攻撃）を防ぐ足場になります。
SNSなら。発言の背後に生身の人間がいるかを見分けられれば、ボットによる世論の水増しを削ぐことができます。
プライバシーなら。中央のサーバーに個人情報を貯め込むのではなく、「同じ人間である」という証明だけを、身元と切り離して扱う設計を目指します。誰かを名指しで特定せずに、人間であることだけを確かめる――監視とは逆向きの仕組みです。
そしてこのセキュリティを土台に、政府や企業が発行する中央集権的な通貨ではなく、市民自身のゆらぎから生まれる価値を基盤にした通貨の発行を構想しています。
最終的には、システムがプロジェクトの手を離れ、自律したネットワークとして機能し、誰も――創設者も、政府も、大企業も――一存では動かせない分散型のネットワークと通貨になること。それが設計目標です。これは理想の飾りではありません。どんな組織も放置すれば少数支配へ傾く、という冷徹な前提に対する、論理的な要請です。だから、創設者自身が抜けても回る仕組みを、最初から設計に含めます。
EntropyGridは、人間のゆらぎや意識の広がりを価値の増大として捉え、それを分散型の基盤に変えます。中央集権による「秩序化」に抗い、自由が自然に広がる仕組みを目指す。参加者が増えるほど人間由来のゆらぎは蓄積され、AIが世界を覆うほど、人間の非合理性は希少な資源になっていく――EntropyGridは、その「人間のゆらぎ」を、分散型で守り、価値へ変える試みです。
AI時代の生きがい
AIによる大量の失業。政府や企業に生活を管理されるベーシックインカム。
そんなふうに暮らしが根こそぎ変わることを、多くの人は望んでいるでしょうか。
私は、そうは思いません。
人間は、仕事や人との繋がりのなかに、生きがいややりがいを見出します。
「AIが労働を担い、人は創造的な存在になる」と言われますが、すべての人がそうなれるわけではありません。実際に待っているのは、むしろアイデンティティの揺らぎかもしれない。やることを失った社会は、静かに不安定になっていきます。
「小人閑居して不善をなす」――暇を持て余すと、人はよからぬことをする。
これも人間の一面です。だから、ただ労働から解放して怠惰な環境を用意するだけでは、豊かさではなく荒廃を招きかねません。
では、AIの時代に、人間に残る価値とは何でしょうか。
AIは、決定論的な最適化の産物です。過去のデータを確率的に処理し、後ろ向きに論理を再現する。一方で人間は、非合理性の源泉です。割に合わない選択、説明のつかない直感、諦めの悪さ。細胞から量子のレベルまで、幾重にも積み重なった"ゆらぎ"が、前向きな創造性や直感、そして責任を生み出します。
AIが賢く、正しく、最適になるほど――その最適さに収まりきらない人間の非合理性こそが、かけがえのない価値になる。EntropyGridは、その価値を守り、次の時代へ手渡すための試みです。
既存システムからの脱却
シリコンバレーの思想家ナヴァル・ラヴィカントは、かつてXでこんな趣旨を語りました。
――個人は今、既存の制度から次々に「出口」を見つけている。中央銀行に対するビットコイン、ウォール街に対するDeFi、マスメディアに対するSNS、産業教育に対するホームスクーリング、9時5時に対するリモートワーク、雇用に対するクリエイター経済。
人々は、組織から離れ始めている、と。（原文は本人の投稿をご覧ください。）
象徴的な指摘だと思います。各国の法定通貨の価値が揺らいでいるのは、財政支出や発行量の多さだけが理由ではありません。AIや量子コンピューターの登場で、「そもそも何が価値の本質なのか」が揺らぎ始めている。知識の価値が下がり、製造の価値が下がり、労働の価値が下がる。そんななかで、中央銀行が刷る紙幣という紙切れに、本当に価値があるのか――時代がそう問い始めています。
ただし、その出口として挙がるビットコインにも、課題はあります。流通性の低さ、初期保有の不透明さ、そして「本当の分散」を実現できているとは言い切れないこと。
量子コンピューターへの耐性の懸念や、マイニングの膨大な電力消費もあります。
イーロン・マスクは「電力が次の通貨になる」と語りました。示唆に富む見方ですが、私はそのままの形にはならないと考えます。ミクロな生活の通貨として使うには難しく、電力を生む企業ばかりが有利になってしまうからです。
もっと根本的な問いもあります。ビットコインの価値は、何に裏打ちされているのか。
答えは、意外とはっきりしません。「みんなが価値があると信じているから」という循環か、「採掘に投じた電力と計算コスト」か。けれど、電力を燃やしたこと自体に価値の源泉があるわけではありません。
EntropyGridが価値の源に置くのは、信仰でも燃やした電力でもなく、「生身の人間が存在し、選択した」という事実です。
この「人間の証明」は、遠い未来を待たなくても、今すでに価値を持ちます。ボットと人間の区別、なりすましの排除、投票の本人性。人間であることの証明は、AIの時代にますます必要とされる、現実のニーズです。私たちは、まずここから始めます。
けれど、それは終着点ではありません。人間の証明を売る事業は、もっと大きな構想への第一歩です。その先にあるのは――AIが経済を動かすほど、その一つひとつの取引の根底に人間の存在が要る、という世界。人間の証明を、単なるサービスから、AI経済そのものの土台へと育てていく。足元の一歩は小さくても、目指す地平は、そこにあります。
エントロピー源も、スマホの画面だけにとどまりません。その次の段階として、スマートリングなどのウェアラブル端末から得られる脈拍や、人間特有の身体の動きを、エントロピー源に加えることを計画しています。画面に触れている瞬間だけでなく、身に着けている間ずっと「生身の人間がそこにいる」ことを示せるようになります。
そしていつか、Neuralinkのような脳内インターフェース（BCI）が、思考の「最適化」を越えて、脳内に渦巻く非合理なノイズそのものを資源として扱う日が来るかもしれません。
もしそうなれば、ハードウェアが直接取り出した生体エントロピーを受け取り、それをセキュリティと「人間の証明」へ変える基盤として、EntropyGridは自然に接続できる――そう構想しています。これは遠い先の展望であり、今の実装ではありません。
通貨を発行する場合も、その発行量は市場価格やAI経済の取引量から切り離し、人間の存在そのものに結びつける設計を考えています。また、価値を受け取る権利は本人から切り離して売買できないようにし、一部の人に集まらない仕組みにします。AIが経済を拡大し続けても、人間の存在が必要とされ続ける――そんな制度設計を目指します。
これらは構想であり、現在の参加者に通貨や報酬を約束するものではありません。

現代資本主義のバグ
私たちは、貨幣経済に生きています。人類は物々交換から始まり、やがて貨幣を、価値を交換し保存する手段として生み出しました。貨幣が生まれておよそ2700年。
ここで、一つの根本的な問いが浮かびます。これほど技術と知識を積み上げた現代にあって、なぜ、食べることにすら困る人がいるのでしょうか。
「貧しいから」「怠けているから」「教育が足りないから」――どれも、システムへの答えにはなっていません。私は、本当の答えは、現代資本主義の構造そのものに潜む「バグ」にあると考えています。共産主義に傾くのでも、資本主義を否定するのでもありません。
世界人口は約82億人。国連の推計では、そのうち約8.2％、およそ6億7千万人――およそ12人に1人が、いまも飢餓に直面しています。一方で、世界の穀物生産量は、本来ならすべての人を十分に養えるだけあるとされます。足りないのではない。
生産されているのに、届いていない。これは明らかに、分配のシステムのバグです。
このバグを、人間の存在そのものに価値を置く仕組みによって、少しでも修正していくこと。それも、EntropyGridが掲げる使命の一つです。
きっかけ
このプロジェクトを立ち上げるにあたって、創設者には大きな三つのきっかけがありました。
一つ目。街を見渡せば、ほとんどの人がスマホを触っています。この膨大な時間を、何か価値に変えられないか――ずっとそう考えてきました。近年、スマートフォンの進化でタッチのタイミングなどの情報が取得しやすくなり、ようやく機が熟しました。
二つ目。ある友人に、こう言われたことがあります。「あの人がいなかったら、私たちはこんな良い関係になっていない。あの人に感謝だね」。その友人とは、別の友人の仲介で知り合った仲でした。この何気ない一言が、大きなヒントになりました。
私はこれを、物理のように考えてみました。はじめに友人と仲介者の二人がいて、その仲介者が私を引き合わせることで、新しい関係が生まれる。無数にありえた可能性の中から、出会いが一つ、また一つと現実を確定させていく。人と人は、そうやって繋がっていきます。
この「可能性が一つに定まっていく現象」をプラットフォーム上に集めて再現するのが、EntropyGridそのものです。
三つ目。生成AIの登場が、私を助けてくれました。哲学的な問いを、AIと長い時間話し合いました。そこで腑に落ちたのは――AIが最適解を求める時代にこそ、人間の不確かさや選択が、最後の価値になるということ。
AIや量子コンピューターは最適解を求めます。でも人間は、必ずしもそうではない。
時に、最適でなくても誰かのために動き、勝ち目が薄くても諦めずに続ける。そうやって、世界に奇跡や歴史が生まれてきました。合理化され尽くしたAIの時代に、人間のあいまいさと非合理性こそが、人間に残された最後の価値になる。この根源的な価値を市場に接続し、誰にも支配されない分散型のセキュリティを敷くことが、不正や情報操作を防ぎ、民主主義を守る力になる――そう考えています。
そしてAIとの対話は、もう一つのことを教えてくれました。AIが人間を本当に理解するには、人間の不確かさのデータを取り込む必要がある、と。人間のゆらぎを参照させ、AIの振る舞いを人間の常識の範囲へ寄せる。完璧すぎるロボットを、「少し揺れる、人間らしいロボット」へ。賢さは損なわず、暴走だけを抑える。まるで、ドラえもんをつくるように。
What Is the Benevolent Matrix?
At the core of EntropyGrid is a shared record that links together the measurements of every participant. We call this the "Matrix."
Each time you take a measurement, a "receipt number" is issued as proof that the measurement was received. Each receipt number is recorded linked to the entire record that all participants have built up before it, so if anyone later rewrites even one entry, the links no longer match. Within the Matrix, your receipt numbers are bound together with the records of countless other participants, and your "position" is inscribed in that sequence.
Each time you measure again, your position is updated and linked to your earlier positions. We hope to develop this "continuous confirmation of position" into proof that you continue to exist as the same living human being. Just as people meet one another and settle uncertain possibilities one by one, the Matrix keeps settling into shape, constantly changing with the fluctuations of all participants.
Only receipt numbers and their links are published in the Matrix; the random numbers themselves and the records of your finger movements are not. We believe that as participants increase, the records overlap more and become harder to forge from the outside. Not ruled by any single person, but with everyone's fluctuations supporting everyone's existence—this is what we mean by a "benevolent Matrix." We plan to publish the Matrix on this site as the measurement system is improved.
How Do We Protect Democracy and Privacy?
Two scenarios are often discussed for governance in the AI era: governance by a centralized government or by giant AI corporations. However, neither unconditionally guarantees fundamental human freedoms and democracy.
It is predicted that jobs will be lost to industrial automation, and basic income will be introduced by governments or corporations. But this means that the reins of our right to live and our livelihoods will be held by governments and corporations. There is no guarantee that they will be completely benevolent.
Our lives. An entity that wants to control citizens can simply stop the benefits. We become unable to resist.
Elections. Cognitive warfare and public opinion manipulation on social media are already suspected today. If indoctrination occurs without our knowledge and the results are distorted, we have no way of knowing.
Privacy. Personal information is accumulated, citizens are scored, and behavior is managed under large-scale surveillance.
This is a crisis of democracy and freedom. So, what kind of mechanism can protect human freedom and dignity?
The answer is a fair, decentralized system that cannot be controlled by anyone. EntropyGrid aims to build a foundation that resists excessive interference from AI and quantum computers by placing value on the entropy born from human behavior.
However, let's be honest. "Quantum resistance" can only protect one thing: making cryptography hard to break. It cannot prevent election or social media manipulation on its own. The main force of public opinion manipulation is not attacks that break encryption, but amplification by bots and fake accounts.
That's why EntropyGrid is truly effective in another area: the ability to verify "Is this a real human?"—the proof of human-origin.
For elections. If we can verify that each voter is a real person and that it is one person, one vote, it becomes a foothold to prevent mass impersonation votes (Sybil attacks).
For social media. If we can distinguish whether there is a real person behind a statement, we can reduce the inflation of public opinion by bots.
For privacy. Instead of storing personal information on a central server, we aim for a design that handles only the proof of "being the same human" separately from identity. It's a mechanism that works in the opposite direction of surveillance—verifying that someone is human without identifying them by name.
And with this security as a foundation, we envision the issuance of a currency based on the value generated from the fluctuations of citizens themselves, rather than a centralized currency issued by governments or corporations.
Ultimately, the design goal is for the system to leave the hands of the project, function as an autonomous network, and become a decentralized network and currency that no one—not the founders, not the government, not large corporations—can move at will. This is not an idealistic decoration. It is a logical requirement against the cold premise that any organization, if left unchecked, will lean towards minority rule. Therefore, we include a mechanism in the design from the beginning that allows it to run even if the founders themselves leave.
EntropyGrid captures the fluctuations of humanity and the expansion of consciousness as an increase in value and transforms it into a decentralized foundation. It aims for a mechanism where freedom naturally expands, resisting the "ordering" by centralization. The more participants there are, the more human-derived fluctuation is accumulated, and the more AI covers the world, the more human irrationality becomes a scarce resource—EntropyGrid is an attempt to protect this "human fluctuation" in a decentralized way and turn it into value.
Purpose in the AI Era
Mass unemployment due to AI. Basic income where lives are managed by governments and corporations. Do many people really wish for their lives to change so drastically? I don't think so.
Humans find purpose and fulfillment in work and connections with others. It's said that "AI will handle labor, and humans will become creative beings," but not everyone can achieve that. What actually awaits us might be a crisis of identity, and a society with nothing to do will quietly become unstable.
"A small-minded person, when idle, will do evil" (小人閑居して不善をなす) – when one has too much free time, they will do bad things. This is also one aspect of human nature. Therefore, simply liberating people from labor and creating an idle environment may lead to desolation, not prosperity.
So, what value remains for humans in the age of AI?
AI is a product of deterministic optimization. It probabilistically processes past data and reproduces logic retrospectively. Humans, on the other hand, are a source of irrationality. Unprofitable choices, inexplicable intuition, stubborn unwillingness to give up. The "fluctuations" layered hierarchically from the cellular to the quantum level generate forward-looking creativity, intuition, and responsibility.
The smarter, more correct, and more optimized AI becomes – the very human irrationality that cannot be contained by that optimization becomes an irreplaceable value. EntropyGrid is an endeavor to protect that value and pass it on to the next era.
Exiting Existing Systems
Naval Ravikant, a renowned Silicon Valley thinker, once spoke on X to this effect:
—Individuals are now finding "exits" from existing institutions one after another. Bitcoin against central banks, DeFi against Wall Street, SNS against mass media, homeschooling against industrial education, remote work against 9-to-5, and the creator economy against employment.

I believe this is a symbolic observation. The fluctuating value of national fiat currencies is not solely due to high fiscal spending or excessive issuance. With the advent of AI and quantum computers, "what truly constitutes value" is beginning to waver. The value of knowledge is decreasing, the value of manufacturing is decreasing, and the value of labor is decreasing. In such a climate, the era is beginning to question whether banknotes printed by central banks truly hold value.
However, even Bitcoin, often cited as an exit, has its challenges. Low liquidity, opaque initial holdings, and the inability to unequivocally claim it has achieved "true decentralization." There are also concerns about its resistance to quantum computers and the enormous power consumption of mining. Elon Musk stated that "electricity will be the next currency." While insightful, I don't believe it will take that form directly. It's difficult to use as a currency for micro-level daily life, and it would unduly benefit electricity-generating companies.
There's also a more fundamental question: what backs the value of Bitcoin? The answer is surprisingly unclear. Is it a cycle of "everyone believes it has value," or "the electricity and computational costs invested in mining"? Yet, the act of burning electricity itself is not a source of value.
EntropyGrid places its source of value not in belief or burned electricity, but in the fact that "a real human being exists and made a choice."
This "Proof of Human Origin" holds value even without waiting for a distant future. The distinction between bots and humans, the elimination of impersonation, the authenticity of votes. Proof of being human is a real need that will be increasingly essential in the age of AI. We start here.
However, that is not the end goal. The business of selling "Proof of Human Origin" is the first step towards a much grander vision: a world where the presence of humans is essential at the root of every transaction, the more AI drives the economy. To cultivate "Proof of Human Origin" from a mere service into the very foundation of the AI economy. Even if the steps are small, the horizon we aim for is there.
Our entropy sources will not stop at smartphone screens. As the next stage, we plan to add pulse and the movements unique to the human body, obtained from wearable devices such as smart rings, as entropy sources. This will make it possible to show that "a real human is there" not only at the moment of touching a screen, but continuously while the device is worn.
And someday, brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) like Neuralink might go beyond mere "optimization" of thought and treat the irrational noise swirling within the human brain itself as a resource. If that happens, EntropyGrid envisions naturally connecting as a foundational protocol that receives bio-entropy directly extracted by hardware, transforming it into security and "Proof of Human Origin." This is a distant future outlook, not a current implementation.
If we issue a currency, we are considering a design in which the issuance amount is decoupled from market prices and the transaction volume of the AI economy, and is instead tied to human existence itself. The right to receive value will also be made non-transferable and inseparable from the person, so that it cannot concentrate in the hands of a few. We aim for a system in which human existence continues to be needed no matter how far AI expands the economy. These are concepts, and do not promise any currency or rewards to current participants. This project begins as a social experiment, and the Operator takes responsibility for running it and will respond sincerely to any inquiries.
Bugs of Modern Capitalism
We live in a monetary economy. Humanity started with bartering and eventually created money as a means of exchanging and storing value. It has been about 2700 years since the birth of money. Here, a fundamental question arises: In a modern age that has accumulated so much technology and knowledge, why are there still people who struggle even to eat?
"Because they are poor," "because they are lazy," "because they lack education"—none of these are answers to the systemic issue. I believe the true answer lies in the "bugs" inherent in the very structure of modern capitalism. This is neither leaning towards communism nor denying capitalism.
The global population is approximately 8.2 billion. According to UN estimates, about 8.2%, or roughly 670 million people—about 1 in 12—still face hunger. Meanwhile, the world's grain production is said to be enough to adequately feed everyone. It's not a matter of scarcity. Food is being produced, yet it's not reaching those in need. This is clearly a bug in the distribution system.
One of EntropyGrid's missions is to rectify this bug, even if only slightly, through a system that places value on human existence itself.
The Trigger
In launching this project, the founder had three significant inspirations.
First, everywhere you look, most people are on their smartphones. I've always wondered if this vast amount of time could be converted into some kind of value. In recent years, the evolution of smartphones has made it easier to acquire information such as touch timings, and the time is finally ripe.
Second, a friend once told me: "If it weren't for that person, we wouldn't have such a good relationship. I'm grateful to them." I had met this friend through a mutual friend, and this casual remark became a significant hint.
I thought of this in terms of physics. Initially, there were two people—my friend and the intermediary. When the intermediary brought us together, a new relationship was born. From countless possibilities, one encounter after another concretizes reality. That's how people connect. EntropyGrid itself is about gathering and recreating this "phenomenon where possibilities settle into one" on a platform.
Third, the advent of generative AI helped me. I engaged in long discussions with AI on philosophical questions. What became clear to me was that in an era where AI seeks optimal solutions, human uncertainty and choice become the ultimate value.
AI and quantum computers seek optimal solutions. But humans do not necessarily do the same. Sometimes, even if it's not optimal, they act for others, or they persist without giving up, even if the odds are slim. That's how miracles and history have been born in the world. In the fully rationalized AI era, human ambiguity and irrationality will be the last remaining value for humanity. Connecting this fundamental value to the market and establishing decentralized security, which no one can control, will prevent fraud and information manipulation, and serve as a force to protect democracy—that is my belief.
And my dialogue with AI taught me one more thing: for AI to truly understand humans, it needs to incorporate data on human uncertainty. By having AI reference human fluctuations, we can align AI's behavior within the bounds of human common sense. To transform a "too perfect robot" into a "slightly fluctuating, human-like robot." To suppress uncontrolled behavior without sacrificing intelligence. Just like creating Doraemon.
